Mama Sasa of Lesotho

Grandma takes care of 27 people

Thanks to Mama Sasa, these children go to school, are fed, help each other and Sasa with all the household chores. But they and their communities also need help to get tested and know their status, to know how to prevent the spread of disease and to get treatment. If the parents of these children had been given access to treatment, they would be alive today to take care of them. The challenge is to ensure future generations stay alive to take care of their own children and to help grandmas like Mama Sasa.
