About WHO

Resources and planning

The framework for the financial resources and expenditures of WHO is derived from the 12th General Programme of Work, which covers the period 2014-2019.

WHO's Programme budget for 2014-2015 is the first of three biennial budgets to be formulated within the draft twelfth general programme of work for the period 2014-2019. It presents the Organization's expected deliverables and budget requirements for the 2014-2015 biennium within the broader context of the programme of reform.

  • Launch of WHO's financing dialogue
WHO met with Member States and other contributors on 24 June 2013 for a financing dialogue that follows Member States’ agreement on WHO’s priorities for the coming years, focusing on areas where the Organization has a unique function or comparative advantage.
