Teaching geriatrics in the medical education II
Overview
The goal of the study was to gain insight on if and how ageing issues are incorporated into the medical curriculum worldwide. WHO advocates that all medical doctors need to be well trained in care of older persons, that students need to acquire knowledge about how to treat older persons from an interdisciplinary point of view. WHO established a partnership with IFMSA with the aim of fostering the adoption of geriatric medicine in the medical curriculum worldwide.
