Health Worker Salaries in Low and Middle Income Countries

In response to the scarcity of data to guide government policy on what health worker salaries should be, the Alliance HPSR and the Global Health Workforce Alliance at the World Health Organization issued a joint call for proposals to examine these trends in LMICs. Two subsequent reports stemmed from the Call; one report analysed trends among three Latin American countries: (Bolivia, Peru and Chile) and a second report analysed trends in the African countries of Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger.
