Generation of new knowledge
Stimulating the generation and synthesis of policy-relevant health systems knowledge - encompassing evidence, tools and methods - is one of the core objectives of the Alliance. In pursuit of this objective, the Alliance has routinely supported researchers in developing countries to produce and publish high-quality and innovative HPSR and syntheses in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to funding original empirical HPSR, the Alliance has supported the generation of new knowledge in strategic areas and funded synthesis teams, including four different centres conducting systematic reviews.
- Access to Medicines Policy Research
- Centres for Systematic Reviews
- Effects of Global Health Initiatives on Health Systems Development
- Health worker incentives to locate to underserved areas
- Health Worker Salaries in Low and Middle Income Countries
- Identification of Priority Research Questions
- Strategic Research on Governance, Equity and Health
- Strengthening HPSR methodologies
- Universal Financial Coverage
