Centre for Systematic Reviews on Health Financing, China

At the grant’s mid-point, China’s systematic review centre on health financing has completed a review protocol and a review report on the effect of outreaching strategies for expanding health insurance. It has submitted a draft of a review report on means testing, and published an article in Health Policy and Planning.

The Centre has undertaken a number of further activities.

  • A systematic review on a new topic will be conducted. Preliminary research has been done and, in consultation with the Alliance HPSR, potential research areas have been discussed.
  • Completion and publication of a review report on means testing. (available for download below)
  • Completion and publication of the "Outreach strategies for expanding health insurance coverage in children" in Cochrane Database of systematic reviews. (available for download below)
  • Capacity building, Team members will be sent out for capacity strengthening in protocol development, data analysis, quality assessment, and preparation of review report.
  • Dissemination of the work . The review work will be disseminated in publications, workshops, and meetings. A website will be set up for this thematic centre.
