Centres for Systematic Reviews
The Alliance HPSR, in collobaration with the Oslo Satellite of the Cochrane Effective Practice and Organization of Care (EPOC) Group, the EPPI Centre at the Institute of Education, London, and the Effective Health Care Research Programme Consortium, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in England, helped to launch 4 Systematic Review Centres in 2007 to aid in the generation and synthesis of HPSR.
Three Centres focus on a specific thematic area of HPSR, namely: human resources for health, health financing and the role of the non-state (private) sector.
The fourth Centre is a more broadly-oriented "Methodology Centre" which aids in the development of appropriate methods for conducting and packaging systematic reviews for LMICs.
