Centres for systematic reviews of health policy and systems research in low-and middle-income countries
Methodology Centre for Systematic Reviews of Health Policy and System Research in LMICs, Chile.
Based at Chile’s Pontificia Universidad Católica, the Centre focuses on systematic review methodology. It works hand-in-hand with thematic centres in China, Bangladesh, and Uganda and works closely with the Alliance and its partners in this initiative. The Centre has produced a litany of literature and reports to guide the work of other centres as well as contributing systematic reviews itself. This Methodology Centre has been tasked with:
- Conducting systematic reviews of specific topics in HPSR.
- Providing structured summaries of existing systematic reviews of interventions in HPSR relevant to the specific thematic areas of the Centres.
- Preparing a Manual for Systematic Reviews of HPSR.
- Maintaining an International Advisory Panel (IAP) for HPSR in LMICs.
- Coordinating an internal review process for protocols and reviews produced by the Thematic Centres.
