The Identification of Priority Research Questions
The Alliance has awarded four contracts to grantees in different regions to identify high priority research questions within the three current Alliance HPSR themes: health workforce, health financing and the role of the non-state sector. The intention is to collect information about policy concerns at the country level and policy maker research needs in order to drive local, regional and global health systems research agendas. As the work focuses upon assessing policy concerns and research priorities in different regions, the Alliance HPSR has particularly encouraged applications from regional networks and regional institutions in developing countries.
-The following report has been produced by Urcullo et al., one of the Alliance's four grantees and addresses the priority research questions around the three thematic themes in Latin America and the Caribbean.
-The following report has been produced by Dr Delius Asiimwe, Senior Research Fellow at the Makerere Institute of Social Research, Uganda. His report addresses the priority research questions around the three thematic themes in Uganda.
