Overview

This report presents the achievements and challenges of APOC from September 2006 to August 2007. Highlights include:

  • the achievements of communities and the national onchcocerciasis task forces (NOTFs) in delivering ivermectin and other health interventions using the community-directed treatment (CDTI ) approach
  • capacity building in countries
  • sustainability of the CDTI approach, including monitoring the implementation of CDTI sustainability plans
