External Monetary Incentive Policies for Community Volunteers: analysis report of a multi-country study
Overview
The report presents the findings of the first phase of a multi-country study carried out for the African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control (APOC) on the issue of external monetary incentives (EMI) provided to community volunteers. The main objective of the study was to document policies on these external monetary incentives by different health programmes, the determinants of these policies and to what extent they overlap at the implementation level.
