Overview

In 2000, an external evaluation expressed concern about the sustainability of community-directed treatment with ivermectin (CDTI) once APOC funding comes to an end. In response, a task team was set up to develop measurable indicators of sustainability and develop a method to evaluate the sustainability of CDTI projects. These guidelines set out how to implement an evaluation, how to analyze the results and make recommendations, and how to develop a ‘sustainability plan’.
