Introduction
The WHO Archives holds many black and white photographs showing the work done in various health-related professions by people from all parts of the world.
This exhibit offers a selection of images of workers taken during their daily activities in the 1950s. These images illustrate health programmes established by governments and by WHO, and also simply by the communities themselves.
