Cholera
Sources available in the Archives
Cholera was already a subject of concern for international organizations before the creation of WHO in 1948, when it took over responsibility for it. Different archive documents held in the following fonds testify to that concern:

OIHP was engaged in the control of cholera in different countries between 1915 and 1940. Documents such as reports, instructions and vaccination certificates were produced. For further information, consult the inventory of material. -
Centralized files
The "Centralized files" contain documents on vaccination for cholera, the expert committee on cholera, research mandates etc. For further information, consult the contents of the inventories of the sub-fonds. -
"Project Files" Archives
This fonds contains a number of documents concerning cholera research and control in Europe, Burma and India. -
