Nutrition is a pillar of life, health and development. WHO has always been dedicated to reducing malnutrition and promoting a healthy diet, as is testified by numerous documents:

  • Archives of the Office International d'Hygiène Publique (OIHP)
    OIHP was concerned with rationing and nutrition during the First World War. For further information, consult the inventory.
  • Centralized files
    The "Centralized files" contain numerous documents relating to nutrition: expert committees and commissions, research mandates, collaboration, programmes, reports, etc. For further information, consult the contents of the inventories of the sub-fonds.
  • "Project Files" Archives
    This fonds contains the documents relating to nutrition programmes in different countries and provides a comprehensive overview of activities in the field between the 1960s and the 1980s.
  • Photographic Archives, Sub-fonds Photographs
