The Agogo Presbytarian Hospital was established on 21 March 1931. It is the oldest mission hospital in Ghana.
Catchment area
It covers the Ashanti-Akim North District with a population of 149,491. However, patients from all over Ghana and the neighboring countries of Togo, Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso, come to the hospital, particularly for ophthalmological care.
