Installing the World Health Organization Certificate in your browser.
The following certificate provides a means to encrypt and authenticate
networked services to the World Health Organization community. A primary goal is to
extend World Health Organization services to our community who are connecting from
outside the who.int network.
These services are only supported for currently available Netscape/Mozilla and
Internet Explorer Browsers, at this time. If you do not have Mozilla installed
on your system you can download a free version, for most computers, from
http://www.mozilla.org.
Load the "World Health Organization Certification Authority Certificate".
This will allow you to set up secure, encrypted, SSL sessions to supported
World Health Organization services with your browser.
Load into Mozilla/Netscape.
When prompted, continue to click "Next".
When prompted with a list of options, choose them all, then continue to
click "Next".
When prompted to choose a Nickname, we suggest "World Health
Organization CA",
then click "Finish".
Load into
Internet Explorer.
When prompted, "What would you like to do with this file?", select "Open
this file from its current location".
From the Certificate window, select "Install Certificate..."
The Certificate Manager Import Wizard will start up, click "Next" twice and
then click "Finish".
Click "Yes" when asked if you want to add the certificate. Then click "OK"
twice to close the remaining windows.
If you have problems with this process, please contact the USP Help Desk by
web site, phone (+41 22 791 2040).
