World Health Report 2002
Chapter 5 reports important inputs to two types of policy questions. The first is how best to reduce the health burden associated with a specific risk factor, where information on the effectiveness and costs of the alternative interventions is one crucial input. The second is how best to reduce the health burden associated with risk factors in general, where information on the effectiveness and costs of interventions aimed as a variety of risk factors is critical.
