WHO takes action on pandemic (H1N1) 2009
|
WHO continues to help all Member States respond to pandemic influenza. The goal is to reduce the impact of the pandemic on society.
A primary focus is support to health systems in countries with less resources to help them prevent, detect, treat and mitigate cases of illness associated with this virus.

WHO deploys pandemic influenza vaccine
To help protect people from severe disease from pandemic H1N1 infection, WHO is coordinating the distribution of donated pandemic influenza vaccines to 95 countries. Distribution is now underway.
