The Federal Minister for Health, Mohammad Nasir Khan, and WHO Director-General Dr LEE Jong-wook, visit the area hit by the earthquake. Two months have passed since the earthquake struck on 8 October, killing 73 000 people, seriously injuring more than 70 000 and leaving three million people homeless.

Preparing for the harsh Himalayan winter is now the main priority. "What concerns me most is the sub-zero temperature at night and that the weather in the coming weeks and months is going to become even more severe," says Dr Lee.
