Marketing food to children : the global regulatory environment
OVERVIEW
This report is the result of a systematic search to examine the regulations that govern the marketing of food to children. Part one outlines the methodological framework used to review the regulations; part two describes the regulations in detail, utilizing a series of tables to highlight the main features of national regulations and boxes to reflect common themes, problem areas and country specific experiences; and part three summarizes the key issues arising from the review, identifies important gaps in the knowledge base, and poses questions to guide future research and policy. The conclusions reflect the work of the its authors and have not been endorsed by WHO.
