Comments from Member States

   Final strategy and related documents

The WHO Executive Board, in its 113th session, January 2004, discussed the Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health (EB113/44 Add.1). The Executive Board decided that Member States will have the opportunity to comment on the draft Strategy until 29 February 2004. It agreed also that the Secretariat will prepare a new draft to be presented at the 57th World Health Assembly 2004. The Executive Board agreed that these comments will be made available to all Member States.

This page contains the comments submitted by Member States. These comments have been posted as they were received, and comments received by the deadline of 29 February 2004 are listed below alphabetically by the name of the Member State. Submissions received between 29 February and 5 March 2004 are displayed under a separate heading, and were included in the review of comments during the revision of the draft global strategy. The third section of comments on this page contains those received after 5 March 2004, after the review and revision of the draft global strategy.
