EVIPNet Country Knowledge Translation PlatformsEVIPNet regional networks and country teams encompassing 44 teams in 41 different countries. This number is expected to grow over 2012-15. Each multi-disciplinarity team is a combination of researchers, policy-makers, civil society groups, research and public health institutes. The institutionalization is the challenge and strategy for country teams to be more sustainable and connected with research and policy communities.

- Inter-regional and regional fora bringing together researchers, policy-makers and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen capacities and share emerging practices tools, methods and lessons learned in evidence-informed policy-making and knowledge translation.
- National capacity building workshops to write evidence briefs for policy to describe the context in which an issue is being addressed, the nature of the underlying problem and its causes, viable options for addressing the problem, and key implementation considerations. And to organize national policy dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
