Resources to promote the implementation of Article 12 of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control and its guidelines
The Conference of the Parties at its fourth session requested the Convention Secretariat to make available international, regional and national resources for tobacco control education, communication, training and public awareness in relation to the guidelines for implementation of Article 12 of the WHO FCTC.
This resource list has been developed in consultation with the Key Facilitators of the working group on Article 12. WHO’s Tobacco Free Initiative, WHO regional offices and other partners were also consulted.
The resource list has two principal elements:

A. Resource list of materials and information sources to promote the implementation of Article 12 and its guidelines

The list contains resources at the international, regional and national levels, including those resources from WHO.
B. Resource list of organizations that can assist the Parties in planning and implementing their public education and training activities. This list can be derived from the Convention Secretariat's database of available resources to promote implementation of the Convention, which is searchable by different areas of tobacco control including those related to Article 12 and its guidelines.
