Questionnaire on financial resources and mechanisms of assistance sent to Parties
In accordance with decision FCTC/COP4(17), operative paragraph 2(6), the Convention Secretariat is collecting information on the progress being made by Parties in the mobilization of resources and the performance of mechanisms of assistance to support implementation of the WHO FCTC.
The information will be used in preparing the report to be submitted to the fifth session of the Conference of the Parties. To this end the Secretariat sent a questionnaire to the WHO FCTC focal points of all Parties, inviting them to respond to a few questions concerning these aspects of treaty implementation.
The Secretariat is already utilizing information contained in Parties’ implementation reports (Section 4 of the reporting instrument). Parties may wish to provide any additional information on this matter by using the questionnaire sent to the focal points, or any other relevant information, addressing correspondence to fctcresources@who.int.
