At the request of the Government of Botswana, Ishmael travels through the country to talk about his ordeal and to encourage openness about HIV. His biggest enemy is no longer the virus, but the stigma. "I am proud to talk about antiretrovirals, I am proud to talk about how I live a healthy, disciplined life. I take my pills scrupulously. I know there is no cure for AIDS yet. I strictly follow the directions of my doctor this is the only way to fight the virus. I can now proudly say: "I do not have AIDS, I have the virus."
