Mr Tipu Sultan
WHO/Rezaul Islam Kallol

"I find my job challenging," says Tipu. "It can be hard to encourage people in rural areas to visit health facilities. Sometimes they are illiterate and can be intimidated by the information we give them. Often they prefer to see a kabiraj — or traditional medicine practitioner."

"It is mostly young, educated people who come to us for health advice."
