Saving the future generation in Darfur

At Babiker Nihar, the only health clinic in south El Fasher, Dr Enaam Mohammed Ali examines a child. The clinic serves about 4 000 people living in the town and nearby camps. The most common health problems among children under five seen at the clinic are diarrhoea, malaria, acute respiratory infections and malnutrition. The children are usually aged between five months and four years.
