Cracking down on driving under the influence of alcohol

At a police checkpoint in Kigali, Captain Edward Rwabuneza gives a breath test to Eric Rudido, a minibus driver. The test, which measures blood alcohol levels, indicates no problems.

If the test revealed an alcohol level over the limit, the driver would have been fined 50 000 Rwandan francs (US$ 90).
