Pakistan: rebuilding health services after the earthquake

WHO quickly sent two truckloads of essential medicines and supplies for up to 60 000 people for three months. It took an arduous two-day journey by road from Islamabad to reach the affected people. But the advance stock of medicines in the country helped to minimize the response time.
