The eight beds in the pre-delivery room of the maternity ward are almost always full. Round the clock, five skilled health staff take care of women who give birth at the facility – on average 30 per day. The package includes antenatal care, childbirth and emergency surgery if necessary and costs each mother 18 000 CFA (about US$ 40).
