Blindness avoided for millions of children

Night blindness is one of the first signs of vitamin A deficiency, and can also lead to permanent blindness and death without intervention. Here in Sudan, school children wait to receive supplements of vitamin A to protect their sight. Distribution of the supplement is part of the project effort in some countries.
