Private-public partnership benefits women and newborns in India

In this primary health care centre in Kheda district, auxiliary nurse midwives provide free antenatal and postnatal care to women. The medical staff also makes sure that women living below the poverty line are aware that they are entitled to skilled attendance at delivery free of cost as part of the Chiranjeevi scheme.
