Asturias prize – global action for public health
In October, WHO receives the Prince of Asturias Award for international cooperation. The Prince of Asturias Foundation honours the intrinsic value of health for all people, the need for greater fairness in sharing the benefits of medical progress and the importance of international cooperation in realizing health gains.
