Coordinating the health response
Since the earthquake, WHO/PAHO is working with UN agencies and NGOs and coordinating the response to the emergency. More than 390 national and international organizations are linked in to this overall coordinated effort, working in the areas of hospitals, medical supplies, psychosocial support, primary health care, mental health and HIV/AIDS treatment.
