Damage to health facilities means the regular treatment many people receive for pre-existing conditions, such as HIV/AIDS, diabetes and cancer will be disrupted. Control of communicable diseases, such as diarrhoeal diseases and respiratory infections, will be another major concern in coming days and weeks.
