About 290 000 people in the Ukraine were living with HIV in 2009, one of the highest numbers in Europe. Tanya and Sergei are both living with HIV in the Ukrainian city of Odessa. They were infected while injecting drugs many years ago. Injecting drug use has resulted in an explosive HIV epidemic in the country.
