Underfunding tuberculosis risks slowing progress
WHO reported in the Global tuberculosis control report 2011 that the number of people dying from tuberculosis (TB) has fallen to the lowest level in a decade. However, this progress is at risk from underfunding, especially in the area of combating drug-resistant TB.
