Malaria deaths are down but progress remains fragile
Malaria mortality rates have fallen by more than 25% globally since 2000. However, steps must be taken now to control the spread of resistant parasites. The world risks losing its most potent treatment for malaria unless measures are quickly taken to prevent the spread of drug-resistant parasites.
