WHO reform for a healthy future

The scope and nature of challenges facing public health have changed greatly since WHO was founded in 1948. To better equip the Organization to rise to these challenges, a series of reforms relating to programme priority setting, governance, and management, were proposed to its Executive Board – and broadly agreed on.
