Social mobilization teams, including WHO staff, are working with villages and households in the most affected areas of Kibaale district. They go door-to-door, distribute fact sheets through newspapers, and broadcast health awareness messages on the radio and using film vans. Social mobilization is one of the most important parts of an Ebola outbreak response. It helps to improve understanding of Ebola, reintegrate former patients and rebuild community life.
