Taking corporate social responsibility

More than 50% of those affected by TB are in their economically most productive years, and an employee with TB can lose an average of 3-4 months of work and income. Some businesses in Swaziland are taking responsibility to address TB. Ubombo Sugar Hospital at Big Bend provides TB and HIV services directly to sugar factory employees and the surrounding community including the coal mines.
