Inequalities in health

An important part of creating an accurate picture of national health trends is to examine how socioeconomic factors can create health inequalities. Children from households with a low income, for example, are more likely to be malnourished. WHO is helping countries to produce a more detailed view of health trends that would be masked by statistics based on national averages alone.
