Human rights violations: abusive use of seclusion and restraint

In many institutions, people are put in seclusion for long periods of time with no human contact. They are sometimes locked away in small, prison-like rooms.

Sometimes, adults as well as young children are locked up in caged beds, confined, and with no hope of movement day after day.
