Injured people
Latest figures show that more than 65 000 people are injured. Thousands have needed surgery to repair broken or crushed limbs, head, spinal and chest trauma.

Days after the earthquake, because so many people lived in remote areas, many were still suffering with injuries compounded by infections and gangrene. Doctors and nurses from Pakistan and many other countries have worked tirelessly to care for people.
