Ran Lu

Professor Lu Ran is Deputy Director Branch of Enteric Infection Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention from 2005. She was Director of the National Salmonella Reference Laboratory and Deputy Director Department of Foodborne Disease Control and Prevention, Institute for Nutrition and Food Safety, China CDC from 2000 to 2004. She has been responsible for activities of WHO-GFN (formerly as Global Salm-Surv) in China from 2000. Her area of research interest was antimicrobial resistance of enteric and foodborne pathogens.
