Hege Salvesen Blix

Hege Salvesen Blix is a senior advisor at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Statistic Methodology, Dept. of Pharmacoepidemiology, Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Oslo, Norway. Hege Salvesen Blix is a Pharmacist from University of Oslo since 1981, a Specialist in Hospital Pharmacy since 1996 and she received her PhD in 2007 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo.

Hege Salvesen Blix has been the Norwegian representative in the European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Consumption Project (ESAC) group since 2001. Furthermore, board member of the European Drug Utilization Group (EuroDURG) 2004-8. Since 2009, she is a member of the Technical consultative Group for European Surveillance of Veterinary Antimicrobial Consumption (ESVAC). Since 2000, Hege Salvesen Blix has been a member of the group responsible for the annual publication NORM/NORM-vet. “Consumption of Antimicrobial Agents and Occurrence of Antimicrobial Resistance in Norway” a report covering both human and veterinary field.
