Joint FAO/WHO Expert Meeting to Review Toxicological and Health Aspects of Bisphenol A

Over 30 experts attended the meeting to review toxicological and health aspects of BPA. This meeting was organized by WHO jointly with FAO, with the support of the European Food Safety Authority, Health Canada, the US National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the US Food and Drug Administration.

This summary report contains the collective views of an international group of experts and does not necessarily represent the decisions or the stated policy of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the World Health Organization. A full, more detailed report, is in preparation and will be issued in due course.

The summary report also contains a brief report of the stakeholder meeting.
