Joint FAO/WHO Expert Consultation on Animal Feed Impact on Food Safety, 8-12 October 2007, Rome, Italy
The role of animal feed in the production of safe food is well recognized and Codex is currently considering the need to develop further risk management guidance on this issue. In order to facilitate and provide a scientific basis for such consideration FAO and WHO will implement an Expert Meeting to review the current knowledge on animal feed and its impact on food safety in October 2007.
FAO and WHO are seeking candidates to participate in this meeting and data to be reviewed by the meeting. The deadline for submission of CVs of experts and the presentation of data is 30 July 2007.
