Round table discussion on capacity building in food safety, water and nutrition through training and education, Rome, Italy, 10-11 September 2008
Many capacity-building programmes are been addressing specific training needs in isolation of other initiatives. In collaboration with FAO, OIE, the Industry Council for Development (ICD) and Safe Supply of Affordable Food Everywhere (SSAFE), FOS will organize a round table discussion on 10-11 September 2008 in Rome, Italy, on capacity building in food safety, water and nutrition through training and education.
The objectives of the meeting are to assess global needs for capacity building in food safety, water and nutrition and identify potential areas for collaboration, as well as to develop a draft plan of work for priority areas with the appropriate partners.
